How much room do I need for my door to roll up in?

Typically you need 300mm to account for this, but we do offer a low headroom model needing just 250mm, as well as a super low headroom model at 205mm.

What colours are available?

We offer a choice of more than 16 colours, as well as wood effect laminates, meaning that we can match your front door or windows.

What is external manual override and do I need it?

If you don’t have another entrance to your garage, for instance a side door or back door, we’d recommend that you have an external manual override installed. This allows for the garage door to be manually opened in the case of a power failure, It is a series of drives and joints coming off the motor and through the wall it is secured with a key lock to prevent anyone unauthorised from operating.

We have 75mm and 90mm tracks available.

Are your doors insulated?

Yes. all of our garage doors are insulated with a foam injected polyurethane core. The side runners are also protected with brush pile inserts to keep away draughts. We offer some of the thickest lathes on the market, meaning that you will receive a more insulating core.

What is a wireless safety edge?

A wireless safety edge is a sensor which is fitted onto the bottom of garage doors, and this can determine when the door lands on an obstruction. What this does is it safely halts the door, increasing the safety of the overall system as well as allowing for the doors to be operated on a one press open and close system. The standard mode requires the button to be held down and monitored until the door is fully closed to prevent accidents.

Are your doors electric?

Yes, all of our doors are electric and can be operated via a remote control key switch keypad or even from your smart phone!

How many handsets does the door come with?

All of our doors come with two handsets as standard, although extra ones are available to purchase.

Are the doors secure against thieves?

All of our doors are securely locked down by the force of the motor and anti-lift geometry straps, leaving no locks or handles for would be intruders to tamper with. We also offer alarm systems included with some models.

We supply to all of mainland UK, but some areas may have a small additional surcharge. To avoid surprises, please use your postcode to check this prior to purchase.

Do your doors come with a warranty?

Yes, we do offer warranty on all of our doors from 12 months to 5 years depending on the model.

Do the doors need a wooden frame?

No, our doors come with their own aluminium frame which is made up of the guide runners on the sides and the top box.

What weather-resistant features do your doors have?

A double brush feature in the guide runners, a fully enclosed top box and a rubber strip in the last slat to seal the entrance are all included in our doors, offering excellent weather resistance.
